With its overall theme of dire warning & important messaging (thankfully without being preachy), this 3rd album from the ominous but catchy NJ thrashers would be their best-selling & most successful release, and coming off of a strong predecessor to boot. Filled with satisfying songs tackling environmental destruction, drug abuse, democracy's fragility, vehicular police harassment, and social alienation, HWC also saw heavy rotation on MTV for its 2 videos. Happy 35th Anniversary.
