Today marks the 50th anniverasry of SWEET PUNKIN (1976) opening in XXX theaters. C.J. Laing plays country girl Punkin' Peel, a recently fired stag performer now newly hired as a maid by an elderly millionaire. Once the luscious hillbilly is in his mansion and hoping to be accepted by his family & friends as an equal into high society, they soon get married. When they hit the sack, the dirty old coot croaks from a heart attack leaving her with all his riches and she proceeds to go to town, turning things around amongst the disapproving circle. With silly dialogue, overdramatics and its narrative satirizing the class system, SP is an outrageously low-rent & funny 70's classic directed by anti-feminist Roberta Findlay (who was supposedly frustrated by the cast's acting and ironically didn't like shooting hardcore scenes) that features the jet-set in situations such as a French maid engaged in some lesbian bathtub fisting complete with purple lighting, a gourmet pastry chef using unique icing for a baked cake, a masturbation scene on a bed covered by money, and the climax huge fuckfest featuring glorious sluttery, double penetration & some truly impressive deep throat.
