Naming themselves after some 1952 atomic explosion tests, this short-lived but fondly remembered pre-RANCID ska punk outfit from Berkeley were a resident fixture at the city's famed 924 Gilman Street club, and along with GREEN DAY, SCREECHING WEASEL and THE QUEERS were staples of the Lookout Records label. And the ska man logo may have possibly been lifted from an Apr 1988 Spider Man comic cover. Happy 30th Anniversary.
