Retro Raunch Revisit

Adapted from the 1977 book based on the alleged Dec 1975 paranormal experiences of the Lutz family, and further starting ground which began with the infamous Nov 1974 Ronald DeFeo mass murders that took place in his Long Island,NY home that saw DeFeo kill all 6 members of his family. This bonafide creepy classic (which again was originally dismissed by dimwit critics) like THE EXORCIST helped usher in a wave of demonic/haunted/possession horror movies. Filled with several unsettling memorable scenes & jump scare moments, the Dutch Colonial house spawned a numerous 45(!) more films with the "Amityville" name -- including the 2005 remake.
