Retro Raunch Revisit

Melodic aggression and muscular angularity. With noisy, dissonant & quiet moments that swelled up in harmony, I loved seeing them play live. I remember a particular Toronto show (JAWBREAKER was the headliner) of Kim just hammering away on bass, making strange faces just purely lost in the music. Some shortbus threw a cup of ice that whizzed past her head narrowly missing her. In an instant, she straight-armed pointed at the guy, flipped him off and kept playing. All without missing a beat. Her response brought a roar of laughter in an otherwise moment which could've gone very bad. Happy 30th Anniversary.
